Industrial Exhaust Fan

 

Call me crazy, but I purchased this industrial exhaust fan for its sculptural beauty and rusty patina. I'm not sure what it's made from. New ones are stainless steel, but not sure if this one is because it wouldn't rust, right?  Anyhow, I thought it would make a cool sculpture for someone with a large space or could be an interested garden sculpture. The top where it connects to the round thing is severed as you can see in last photo. I'm not sure if it is suppose to be or not.

Vintage Industrial Vornado Fan

Vornado has long been regarded as one of the finest fan manufacturers. This original fan dates to the late 40s / early 50s. Reproductions of this popular twin-cone model are currently made today (but the original is so much cooler.) This fan has two speeds and is amazingly powerful and surprisingly quiet. Sure to last another 60+ years.

Vintage Gates Vulco Fan Belt Display Rack

1950's display rack for car fan belts I believe. Great condition. 10 hooks total. Would make  a great hallway coat rack. Measures approx. 42" wide and 5" tall.  Hooks on back for quick hanging.

Industrial Cafe Table, Etc.

 

Love this handmade recycled steel & wood cafe table. A welder made a bunch of these for a new restaurant and had one left over which I nabbed.  The frame and legs are a nice green color with rust patina.

Millinery Hat Mold

Another millinery hat mold.  I couldn't say what style hat this is for.  I admire these blocks for the old wood, shape and history.  I sold three of these in the past.  The last two at SOWA vintage market.  One to a prominent milliner who makes hats for Disney.  The other to a young woman and her mom.  The young woman had just completed training as a 'milliner" (hat maker) and her mom bought it for her. I think it's pretty fascinating to have that be your profession.
