Steel Two-Sided Railroad Sign



Super cool two-sided train signage.  Measures approx. 24" x 12".
I'm assuming these were names of specific trains but not sure what railway.
If anyone knows, please let me know!

1876 Hand Lettered Retirement Placard


A special piece. A retirement plaque handlettered with black ink on gold leaf.  It appears to be on the back of a piece of wood molding (from the National Provincial Bank of England?) I'm curious how this piece made its way to New England. Perhaps Mr. Atkinson migrated after his retirement?  Who knows.
